Formed in 2020, Libero is The Alternative Football Periodical.

We're not interested in meaningless stats or marginal offside debates because football is so much more than that. We want to illuminate the beauty of the global game, writing on the stories that really matter, the weird, the wonderful, the under-reported. We don't do clickbait. We publish high quality written pieces and, as a print magazine, we're looking to remove the noise of an increasingly digital and diluted world.

Luke founded Libero in 2020, from the homely comforts of his front room in Lancashire. He writes on anything and everything as far as football is concerned, looking to write about the niche, the weird and wonderful, providing there's a story to tell.
